Chili Lime Grilled Shrimp Skewers
These Chili Lime Grilled Shrimp Skewers are a perfect appetizer or main dish for a barbecue. The tangy lime and spicy chili marinade give the shrimp a burst of flavor.
Ingredients:
500g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 2 limes
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)
Instructions:
Marinate the Shrimp:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Add the shrimp and toss to coat.
Let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Prepare the Skewers:
Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
Grill the Shrimp:
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh cilantro.
Serve with a side of lime wedges.
