Chocolate Chip Banana Bread with a Twist


This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is moist, flavorful, and has a unique twist of adding a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease a loaf pan.

  2. Prepare the Batter:

    • In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

    • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.

  3. Add Chocolate Chips:

    • Fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Bake:

    • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

    • Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  5. Cool and Serve:

    • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

    • Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
