Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Rice

1.     Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and prevents the rice from becoming sticky.

2.     Combine the rinsed rice and water in a rice cooker or a pot. Cook according to the rice cooker instructions or bring to a boil on the stove, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
